Black History Month Allyship Rountable

In this tense political climate, with information flying at us faster than we can process it, I find it extremely important that we, as white allies, check in with one another to establish best allyship practices. In celebration of Black History Month (yes, I realize we will technically meet after BHM), I thought it important we take a look at what it means to be black in America today. I'd like to discuss Ava DuVernay's documentary 13th (on Netflix - if you do not have an account, I am happy to provide my info) as well as Michelle Alexander's book The New Jim Crow. I hope you can watch and read and join!

By invitation only, so please email Rosey at if you would like to attend.
